JAMMU, Aug 9: General secretary of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Advocate Suresh Kumar Dogra has urged the LG Administration not to disturb recognized educational institutions and follow all the norms laid down by the Government.
“There are only 70-75 recognized educational institutions in Jammu region which are legally built and have good infrastructure and hygienic conditions. These institutions have been running for the decades and have good reputation as these institutions produced a numbers of IAS, doctors, engineers, IPS and many other administrators,” Dogra said in a statement.
He said there are also a number of unrecognized and indisciplined educational institutions which are hands in gloves with the Administration but they are running uninterrupted and enjoying a handsome income but nobody dares to intervene in their working.
Advocate Dogra urged the LG Administration for allowing the smooth running of the recognized educational institutions which are cooperating with the administration and paying their taxes timely.
