JAMMU, Oct 19: State president, Shri Ram Sena (SRS), Rajiv Mahajan today called for boycotting Chinese goods and asked the Central Government to stop importing of China made products in India.
Rajiv Mahajan was reacting to the Chinese media remarks against India that New Delhi can only “bark” and do nothing about the growing trade deficit between two countries.
“Buying Chinese product is an indirect support to a terrorist country,” he said adding that Pakistan has China’s support and extending any economic support to the eastern neighbour was akin to weakening the country’s internal security.
He also asked Indians to take a pledge that they will neither buy nor promote Chinese goods. He also appealed to traders and businessmen to stop sale of Chinese products saying that no matter how cheap Chinese goods are but country’s prestige are more important than profit.
Rajiv said that the import of items from China has been harming India’s small and medium enterprises.
