JAMMU, July 29: The activists of Jammu West Assembly Movement held a protest rally in West Assembly constituency against the BJP led Central and State Governments for their betrayal to the people of Jammu region on AIIMS, today.
Addressing protesters, Sunil Dimple, JWAM president, called for the 72 hours Jammu bandh call on July 31 and August 1 & 2 and demanded the BJP to withdraw the support from the PDP.
He advised the BJP leaders who have gone to Delhi that they should stop playing “double game” and if they are sincere with the Jammu region for AIIMS, they should submit resignation to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during their meeting and withdraw the support from PDP, if official notification on AIIMS is not announced.
Dimple said we have given the Jammu bandh call for the “imposition of the Governors rule in the State, dissolution of the present BJP-PDP Government in Jammu and Kashmir against complete failure of State as well as Central Governments taking U-turns on its election promises, for opening the AIIMS, no development in the Jammu region, and NHAI toll tax road.
