JAMMU, Mar 13: A stranded JCB machine caught fire under mysterious circumstances on Samadhian road, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
As per reports, a JCB machine stranded in a park near Tawi river on Samadhian road caught fire under mysterious circumstances this evening.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and Department of Fire and Emergency Services was informed. Fire fighter and two fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the plastic and wiring parts of the machine were damaged.
No loss of life or casualty has been reported in the incident, meanwhile the exact cause of the fire could be ascertained after completing investigation.
Police has taken the cognizance in this regard.
