POONCH, Mar 22: A stray dog has bitten five persons, causing them injuries in Mandi area of Poonch district.
Officials said that two among them were injured on Thursday evening while three in the morning of Friday, who were identified as Ghulam Qadir, son of Abdul Ahad (Azamabad); Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Mohd Abdullah (Azamabad); Javid Iqbal, son of Nazir Hussain (Rajpura); Bashir Ahmed son of Ramzan Joo (Rajpura) and Ashok Kumar, son of Ratan Chand (BSF personal).
Doctors said that all of them were treated at Sub District Hospital Mandi, dog bite/ anti-rabies vaccine was given. The local authorities have alerted the locals and asked them to keep their children inside and not allow them to move out alone.
