JAMMU, July 10: A meeting of Lohri Chack, Taru Chack, Rathoa, Gho-Manhassan, Tikri Rakwalan, Tikri Deola and Dei Chack residents was held today under the chairmanship of senior National Conference leader and former MLA Sat Paul Lakhotra.
The meeting drew the attention of the concerned authorities towards the electricity shortage in Marh Block villages. The problem gets aggravated during the ongoing humid weather conditions. As the load on transformers gets increased during this period, they trip down time and again, the residents said.
While speaking, Lakhotra urged the Power Development Department (PDD) to streamline the situation in the area so as to provide relief to the people.
Among others present were Naib Sarpanch Ram Lal, Gari Lal, Bua Ditta, Dev Raj, Mangal Ram and Jatinder Lakhotra.
