JAMMU, July 26: Hotel Zone by The Park, a prominent hotel chain in India, has made its presence in Jammu and is set to dazzle the city with its first-ever ‘Khao Gali Food Festival.’
The event was inaugurated today in the presence of Vivekananda Rai, Director Tourism, and Sunaina Mehta, Joint Director Tourism, along with other notable dignitaries.
A statement said that the festival promises to be a gastronomic delight for the people of Jammu, offering a delectable array of street food from different states of India at the “BAZAAR” venue.
From the spicy and tangy Indian chat counters to the mouth-watering Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, and Misal Pav stations, there’s something for everyone.
The festivity embraces the true essence of Indian street food, catering to the passionate taste buds of the locals. The carefully curated menu aims to deliver an authentic and diverse street food experience from various regions of the country.
Guests can relish an assortment of treats at live kitchen bazaars, including Pani Poori with three types of water, Dahi Bhalla Papdi Chat, Masala Bhel, Dosa, Pessarrtu with two types of chutney and sambar, Veg Momo, and Veg Thupka, among others.
A highlight of the festival is the “Khatti Roll” counter, offering a variety of rolls like Paneer Khurchan, Aloo Mater, Soya Champ, and Cheese, all freshly prepared to tantalize taste buds.
Additionally, there’s a Soya Champ, Roomali Roti, and Kulcha Counter, where guests can savor the flavors of Masala Soya Champ.
For those with a sweet tooth, a freshly cut fruit counter will be on display, adding a refreshing touch to the culinary experience. And to wash it all down, guests can indulge in Kulhad Wali Chai, Adrak Gur Tea, Masala Chai, and an array of Mocktails and beverages.
The food festival will run from July 25 to August 5, 2023, for dinner, from 1800 hrs to 2230 hrs, at the Hotel Zone By The Park, Jammu, located near SBI Bank in the Rail Head Complex.
