Street play ‘Mera Vote, Mera Adhikar’ staged

KISHTWAR, Apr 13: Sangam Theatre Group here today staged street play ‘Mera Vote, Mera Adhikar’ at main Bus Stand Kishtwar.
The theatre group also performed at various places in Kishtwar including GDC Kishtwar, Main Bazar Chatroo, Chowgan Ground, Drab and other places and the events were organized by the district administration Kishtwar and supported by Chief Electoral Office J&K.
On this occasion, Devansh Yadav, DC Kishtwar was chief guest while Dr. Kuldeep, DIO Kishtwar; Add. SP, Pawan Kumar; Dy.SP HQ, Ishan Gupta; SHO Kishtwar, Firdous Ahmed and other officers of the District, locals and general public were also present and witnessed the show.
The play stressed that new voters who attained the age of 18 years should enroll themselves for voting for more and more participation of youngsters in fair and ethical manner.
The play highlighted the rights of a voter and stressed on how to elect a right candidate.
The artists who performed in the play were Varun Khajuria, Nia Chouhan, Raja Aamir Khan, Aasim Nadeem, Anamika Devi, Anabia Khan, Priya Kumari, Anu Radha, Anam Khan, Nedhi Singh Thakur and Akram Khan.
The play was written and directed by M. Akram Khan.
