UDHAMPUR, Mar 25: The indefinite strike by Bar Association Udhampur, against a police officer who allegedly misbehaved with an Advocate outside court premises at Salathia Chowk, entered into third consecutive day on Saturday.
Advocates suspend their work and protested against the attitude of police administration. The demonstration was held under the leadership of Advocate Surinder Khajuria, who is also president of the Bar Association Udhampur.
While addressing the gathering, Surinder Khajuria informed that the Bar Association had conveyed a message to the police administration that if the guilty officer seeks an apology for the misbehaviour he did with the Advocate, the Bar Association would end the strike but there was no reply from the other side.
