JAMMU, May 17: National Democratic Party (NDP), has said that a strong Government at the Centre is the need of the hour and emergence of Narendra Modi as strong leader in India is good for the future of this country.
In a meeting of the party held here today, its president Ravi Bakshi said that country needed a strong Government which could face the challenges being posed from within and outside the country. The Government with clear majority after several decades in the country will certainly deliver to the public and work with independence and without any pulls and pressures unlike `hapless’ Dr Manhoman Singh’s Government.
He further said that politics of divide, hatred and religion has caused much damage to our nation. The people have given reply to such political parties who were involved in it and dividing the society on these planks for their vote bank and vested interests. This is really a slap on their faces. Mr Bakshi said that people of this country have high hopes from Mr Modi and it is expected that this `visionary man’ would focus on his agenda rather than indulging in mud-slinging game and felling victim to their strategy to distract him from his goal of development and making strong India, by dragging him in the `net’ of their nefarious designs.
