UDHAMPUR, Dec 17: A student of 10th standard in Government Higher Secondary School Udhampur ended his life by hanging self at his house in Subash Nagar, Udhampur town, this evening.
The deceased was identified as 16-year old Ajay Kumar, son of Mohan Lal of Subash Nagar. He was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his house. Family member saw the boy hanging and immediately rushed him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained immediately while Police has registered a case under Section 174 RPC for further investigation into the matter.
