RAMBAN, July 12: An 18-year-old student died today after he was hit by a shooting stone in Ukheral tehsil of this district, police said.
He said that Zaheer Ahmed, a class 12 student and a resident of Senabati village, died when he was hit by the shooting stone on the Senabati-Ukheral road this evening.
The youth was on his way home from Banihal when the stone hit him, he said.
Meanwhile, a lineman of Power Development Department namely Abdul Rashid drowned while crossing a nullah in Maitra area of Ramban.
