JAMMU, May 21: A student leader was allegedly manhandled today on Jammu University campus by some miscreants.
As per police sources, Partap Singh, president, National Panthers Student Union (NPSU) went to Jammu University to purchase information-cum-admission brochure in order to seek admission in PG Course.
He was assaulted by two Law Department students of Jammu University namely Vikram Singh Chib and Deepu Charak.
Later, the victim reported the whole incident to the police post Nehru Market and a case under relevant Sections was registered and investigation started.
