DODA, Sept 6: Alleging shortage of teaching staff, students of Government Higher Secondary School Kilhotran in Changa Block area here today staged a protest demonstration.
The protesting students also blocked Gowari-Thathri-Doda road and raised slogans against the Education Department and also in support of their demand of deployment of adequate teaching staff in the school.
The protest was led by villagers of Block Changa and students of GHS School Kilhotran.
Protesting students claimed that due to the shortage of staff in the School their education is being affected.
They asked the Government and the local administration to take a cognizance of the issue and get the vacant posts of lecturers and teachers in the School filled.
The protesting students said if their demand was not conceded soon then they would be left with no other option than to launch protest rallies.
