Students, locals protest shortage of teachers

RAJOURI, Nov 11: The students of Govt High School Thanna near Moghla in Kalakote and the locals of the area today held protest against the shortage of teaching staff in the school.
The students and their parents today came out on the road at Thanna near Moghla and started protest demonstration. They were shouting slogans against the Education authorities, CEO  and DC Rajouri. They also disrupted movement of traffic on the road for some time.

The villagers alleged that out of the sanctioned strength of 13 in this Govt High School, there are just five teachers in place at present. The studies of the students, were suffering badly. The concerned authorities were  least bothered about the matter.
Headmaster, Ranbir Singh claimed that he has already requested the CEO Rajouri to provide staff for the smooth functioning of the school but he was helpless. The protesting students warned to restore teachers within one week otherwise, they will put lock on the school.
