UDHAMPUR, June 3: The ongoing tour of 21 students and three teaching staff of Motilal Nehru School of Sports, Rai (Sonipat), which began on May 26, reached Nagrota here today after undergoing an exhaustive learning and fun filled journey.
They met Lt Gen DS Hooda, GOC 16 Corps who interacted with the students. The Corps Commander appreciated the students for making the most of this opportunity and for spreading the message of unity, brotherhood and national integration.
He exhorted the youth to step out in future as well to see the culture, diversity and uniqueness of the State and also witness the rapid strides being made by all the youth across the State.
The GOC gifted souvenirs to the students. This was followed by a photo session.
The students were very excited about the tour and amazed to see the beauty of the State. They also expressed their profound gratitude towards the Army for conducting such a memorable and educative tour.
