UDHAMPUR, Mar 24: Aggrieved over shortage of teaching staff, the students of Government Middle School Phermal, Panchayat Rasil Gadhern, tehsil Dudu Basantgarh, held a strong protest demonstration, here today.
Some locals and parents of the students also joined them in the protest. Shouting slogans against the Educational authorities, the protesting students boycotted their classes and blocked road.
The protesting people alleged that due to the shortage of staff in the school, the students were facing manifold problems. There are only three teachers in the middle school which has a strength of more than 120 students, they added.
The protesting students appealed the concerned authorities to look into their problem and order immediate posting of adequate number of teachers in the school.
