UDHAMPUR, Nov 21: Students of Government High School Balli in Udhampur today protested against shortage of teaching staff in the school.
Raising slogans against the Education Department for its failure to provide adequate number of teachers, the protesting students blocked the main road from Bali to Udhampur for more than two hours.
They lamented that there were only five teachers in the high school and despite appeals to the Education Department, nothing was done in this regard.
