The protesting students said that due to transfer of teachers, their studies are being effected badly which forced them for block the vehicular movement on Kishtwar-Sarthal road today.
Due to protest, the traffic remained effected for several hours together and was restored only when
authorities of Education Department assured the protesting students of timely action.
Meanwhile, the parents of agitating students have alleged that due to flourishing transfer industry and political interference in Education Department, the influential teachers are managing their transfers and attachments to urban areas, which is badly affecting working of schools of rural areas.
The students of these rural areas have no choice and have to migrate to nearby towns for their bright future or to come on roads.
