JAMMU, Oct 19: Demanding postponement of semester exams, students of GGM Science College today held a protest demonstration.
The protest was held under the banner of GGM Science College Students Union, led by Vikram Singh Chib, who claimed that only 30 to 35 days class work has been done and hence scheduled date of semester exams should be extended.
The protesting students raised slogans in support of their demand and against the Jammu University authorities for issuing date sheet of the forthcoming exams.” Before exams, there should be minimum 4- month class work so that the faculty members can finish the syllabus while the students may prepare the same,” he said.
The protest demonstration was also addressed by Clinton, Sagar, Vivek, Vikas, Ratesh, Shubham, Pranav, Kirth, Jamwal, Laksh, Mathur, Anirudh, Lalit, Shrone, Abhi, Opinder, Jugal Kishore, Avinash, Vishav, Robin, Akash, Nishant, Amit, Sahil, Rahul, Kuldeep, Rajesh and Manish.
