Srinagar, Dec 24: Scores of college students today staged a protest here as they were seeking relaxation in syllabus from Kashmir University authorities.
The protesting students, majority of them females, appeared at Press Enclave and started sloganeering. The students said their datesheet has been issued but due to unrest and closure of colleges they have not completed their syllabus.
The students said while the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education granted concession and mass promotion to students, the Kashmir University which conducts the college exams has not issued any such relaxation for Under Graduates. “Now that the datesheet is out, we should be given relaxation,” they demanded.
