JAMMU, Dec 28: Students and teaching staff of Satisar Educational Institute (SEI) Pampore called on Vice-Chancellor of University of Jammu Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar at his residence today.
The students of the SEI are on educational tour to Jammu region on the invitation of Lida Singh, First lady of Campus who had visited the institute in summer this year.
Vice-Chancellor and Lida Singh encouraged the students to dedicate themselves to their studies and excel in life and also encouraged the staff to devote themselves for the noble cause of teaching and shaping the life of the young students.
The children during their interaction with the Vice-Chancellor told him about their experiences during the current educational tour to parts of Jammu region particularly their visit to Central Library, Sheikh-ul-Alam Museum, Ringzen Bzangpo Art Gallery and Botanical Garden of University of Jammu.
The students also sung Kashmiri and Urdu songs and also invited Vice-Chancellor and Lida Singh to visit their institute in Pampore.
Course organizing and Coordinating team including Prof GM Bhat, Head, Department of Geology, Satbir Singh, Ranjeet Kalra, Assistant Director, ASC, Vinay Thusoo and Imran Farooq, Public Relation Officers were also present.
