POONCH, Feb 22: Mohd Sharief Khan, an educationist and noted social worker from Balakote area of Mendhar tehsil and father of Sub Judge Batote, Nishat Ahmed Khan passed away after brief illness at his village last night.
He was 80 and retired as Headmaster from the School Education Department. The burial of the mortal remains of late Khan, was held at his home village- Balakote this afternoon, in which a large number of people from all walks of life participated. Mr Khan was highly respected person of the area.
