Sub-standard black topping work on Amphalla-Janipur road: JWAM

JAMMU, Nov 20: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) here today staged a protest demonstration against the alleged sub-standard black topping work on Amphalla-Janipur road.
Addressing protesters JWAM leader, Sunil Dimple said there should be a CBI inquiry against PWD R&B for the substandard black topping which got damaged within 24 hours.
“The gravel came out and all the patches on road were destroyed causing loss of lakhs of rupees while many two-wheelers slipped due to damaged road,” he further said.
The JWAM leader also alleged that roads in Jammu West Constituency are in deplorable condition.
He said that PWD R&B black topping has raised the level of the road from that of shops and other business establishments at roadside due to which the water enters the shops and residential houses causing losses.
Rani Devi, Rajinder Bhargav, Vishal Kumar, Neeraj Kumar, S. Gurdyal Singh, S. Tarlok Singh, Ashwani Nayar, Sita Ram Rakwal, Surinder Kumar, Ravinder Sharma, Sham Singh and others were also present in the protest.
