Let all of those in our society whose income is adequately sufficient come forward and volunteer that they would not take subsidized gas cylinder . The PM the other day was sharing with an audience that nearly 85000 people had volunteered to refuse take subsidy on the gas and that had resulted in a saving of over Rs. 40 crores. Let us show that we can manage to do it and spread the message to somehow tide over the position of importing energy. This country had shown and virtually solved the food problem by abstaining a meal in a week at the call of Lal Bahadur Shastri
