Speaking exclusively to The Excelsior, Aarav Vivek Gupta shared some important aspects about his successful journey.
Here are the excerpts of his interaction.
DE: Congratulations! How does it feel to be a topper of the exam?
AVG: It’s a proud moment for me and my family. I’m quite happy with my performance in the exams.
DE: Who do you give credit to for your success?
AVG: The credit of my success goes to my school teachers, family members and especially to my grandparents, who always kept me inspired towards the success.
DE: How much time did you spend a day on studies?
AVG: I used to study for 3-4 hours day. I just used to study what I wanted at that time. I gave some more time to the subjects which I found difficult. Our learning should be productive and it’s better that we study single book rather to go for more books.
DE: In the time of social media, how much you feel it helpful?
AVG: The internet has advantages and disadvantages since it has unlimited information resources. Some of these resources have crucial information sensitive to the individual, public, and national interest. Google search always helped me to clear my doubts.
Though, internet is a good tool but if we spent more time in front of screens, it can negatively affect our mental and emotional wellbeing.
DE: What is your ambition in life?
AVG: My aim in life is very clear; I wanted to become a doctor and will opt for the medical stream. Meanwhile, I will prepare myself for the NEET exams.
DE: What will be your advice to the students?
AVG: They must study regularly and should not keep any work pending for the next day. Success and failures are the part of our life. Failures sometimes help us to boost our life after we made some mistakes.
DE: How do you motivate other students?
AVG: Hard work is the only key towards the success. Failure is a negative word, if you want to become successful in your studies, remove this word for your dictionary, chase your dreams with passion and perseverance, which will lead you towards the success.
