JAMMU, Mar 16: The successive governments in the erstwhile State have failed to initiate any step for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and the people were deprived of basic amenities like drinking water, regular power supply and good road network.
This was stated by Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP vice president while interacting with individuals and deputations during the public grievances camp held at Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan Kacchi Chawni here.
Yudhvir said that on one side there are parties which have been exposed badly for continuously deceiving the common masses for years together and on the other it is BJP which has a cadre from top to bottom working day and night only to satiate the aspirations of people and addressing their issues which were earlier disregarded and misused for petty political gains by dynastic rulers.
Yudhvir Sethi asserted that BJP is the only party that has provided healing touch to poor and it is committed to carry on this legacy forward. He solicited the cooperation of the people in realizing the dream of making the J&K economically vibrant and prosperous.
Earlier, various deputations including individual persons and most of them were women visited the party office to discuss their issues with the senior BJP leaders. Issues related to the ration, education, pension, PHE, PDD, Revenue, power, water scarcity, roads and other issues related to the development and personal issues were presented in front of senior party leaders.
While giving patient hearing to the deputations, Yudhvir resolved most of the issues instantaneously by talking to the authorities concerned on phone. He assured to take up the rest of their issues with the concerned authorities and get the same resolved at the earliest.
Sethi said that trusting the BJP’s commitment in reaching out and solving the issues of the public, people in large number visit the BJP office to present their issues with a strong belief on the party. He said that the party is fully committed to address the day to day problems being faced by the people in general and that of Jammu city in particular.
