Successive Govts failed to settle migrants problems: AKDUF

JAMMU, Nov 29: A meeting of All Kashmiri Displaced United Forum (AKDUF) was held under the leadership of its chairman, D N Kissu in which various issues confronting the displaced community were discussed.
As per a release, Kissu in his address stressed on the unity among the rank and file of the community for getting their long pending demands settled as successive Central and State Governments have failed to provide justice to the hapless community leading an exiled life within their country for last 27 years now.
He said the problems are being created in settling the issues of the Pandits and bifurcation of ration cards, inclusion of names and deletion process has been made cumbersome by the Relief Organization.
Addressing the meeting, Prof G L Koul urged the Government to fill up the remaining posts under PM package for migrant youth while P L Sudeshi president of the Forum announced that his organization will accelerate struggle for settlement of the demands.
C L Koul vice president of the Forum urged the authorities to settle the ration problem which has cropped for last 10 months while Forum general secretary P N Pandita advocated for passage of Shrines and Temples Bill and appealed all organisations to support it. It fully endorsed the demonetization decision of the Government. C L Zuthsi, M L Koul and B N Bhat also addressed the meeting.
