NEW DELHI, Feb 28: All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) held an emergency meeting today at its office in, Faridabad, Haryana and demanded healing touch policy for the Kashmiri Pandits living in Valley, immediate release of the salaries of protesting PM package employees, out of box decisions be taken to address their core concerns including security, sleeper cells responsible for attacks should be located, identified and punished, immediate constitution of a separate Department in the J&K administration to address the grievances and day today survival issues of KPs.
The meeting, which was chaired by AIKS president, Dr Ramesh Raina reiterated that the restitution, rehabilitation and non-refoulment constituted the core of AIKS policies which indeed shall be pursued with a great vigour in the days to come.
It while discussing the situation arising out of the fresh target killing of Sanjay Sharma said that there is an uninterrupted continuity in the hovering of dark clouds on the KP community from the black intervening night of 19/20th January 1990. Ever since the powers that be have chosen to neglect and remain deaf and dumb towards the plight of the community and this apathetic and inhuman attitude has costed them dearly by way of becoming a cannon fodder and sitting ducks for these trigger happy mad skulls, it added.
Concerned about such happenings in a recurrent manner, Dr.Ramesh Raina said with pain and anguish it needs to be understood that killing of religious minorities in a fashion of kill one scare one thousand is not just one more killing but a civilizational war on the last remnants of Kashmir’s Hindu civilization and that they are already in a war mode ready to strike at any given opportunity which comes to them in plenty. It is indeed a march towards greater Islamisation of Kashmir taking place at a fast pace, he added.
It is the same ideology at work which was put to practice in 90’s an Islamic Kashmir without Kashmiri Pandits and other religious minorities, he said.
He said every KP killing has a large and loud massage of establishing Islamic State consistent with other Islamic countries but within India and any obstruction in that design has to be removed and KPs have been registered, recognized and identified as obstructions. This is reflected in the issuance of online threat posters on the social media almost on day today basis.
