JAMMU, Sept 13: Senior BJP leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), S. Sucha Singh of Ward number 31 here today started construction work of lane and drain at Extension of NITCO Lane in Talab Tillo area.
BJP Talab Tillo Mandal president, Keshav Chopra was also present on the occasion.
The developmental work will be done under the supervision of JMC and it will incur an estimated expenditure of Rs. 25 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion Sucha Singh assured the residents of his Ward that all their demands will be fulfilled on war footing.
He appealed the public to shun the habit of throwing garbage here and there and use the services of door-to-door moving autos for disposal of household wastes.
The Councillor urged his Ward residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene for making the city beautiful and clean.
Speaking on the occasion Keshav Chopra said that BJP is committed for the development of every Ward.
Lauding the efforts of Sucha Singh he said that elected representatives of BJP are doing commendable work.
Executive Engineer, Devanand Sethi, Samardeep Singh, Prabodh Choudhary, Pinky Bhat, Ravinder Kachroo, Ravinder Gupta, Manohar Lal and others were also present on the occasion.
