Sudan conferred ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ by IIFS

JAMMU, Mar 31: Prominent Trade Unionist and president of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), Sushil Sudan, has been conferred prestigious ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ by India International Friendship Society (IIFS), New Delhi in recognition of distinguished service.
The award was presented to Sushil Sudan by Justice Pramod Kohli, former Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court during a glittering ceremony held recently at India International Centre, New Delhi in presence of galaxy of noted personalities like Justice Virendra Singh, former Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Lt General Nirbay Sharma, former Governor Mizoram, KK Paul, former Uttrakhand Governor, Jaspaul Singh, former Vice Chancellor of Patila University and others who shared the dais during award presentation ceremony.
Sudan was presented the award keeping in view the services rendered by him in the field of Medical Services and for betterment of employees which he used to highlight at the different platforms. He has been actively involved in Trade Union activities since joining of service in 1989. He took active part in getting 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th Pay Commission recommendations for the employees of J&K.
He made several struggle for the employees of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare in particular and other employees in general for which he was jailed many times. Presently, he is president of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation. He was also elected as general secretary of All India State Govt Pharmacist Association at Nagpur. He was further elected as senior vice president of Federation of Indian Pharmacist Organization (FIPO) in the Conference held at Himachal Pradesh and was also nominated as Member, Pharmacy Council of India by Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
