JAMMU, Dec 14: Former Zonal Head and Chairman of J&K Grameen Bank, Sudhir Gupta has been appointed as Executive Director (ED) of the Jammu and Kashmir Bank.
A J&K Bank spokesman said that after the approval from the Reserve Bank of India, the Board of Directors of the J&K Bank in their meeting held today, appointed Sudhir Gupta as Executive Director of the Bank for a period of three years.
Gupta joined the services of J&K Bank as PO during 1989 and has served the Bank in different capacities across the operational topography of the bank ranging from business operations at Branch, heaving headed three different zones as Zonal Head and in the leading important departments -Customer Care, Credit, Audit, BSD/CCM at Corporate Headquarters. He was also deputed as chairman of the J&K Grameen Bank for a period of two years where he demonstrated his leadership skills. He has vast experience of over 30 years in the banking sector.
