SUF demands roll back of new farm laws

JAMMU, Mar 3: Sikh United Front (SUF) J&K today appealed the Central Government to roll back the new anti-farmer laws against which the farmers across the whole country are on protest for more than 100 days.
The appeal was made during a meeting of various Sikh Organizations held under the chairmanship of Sudarshan Singh Wazir chairman SUF J&K. Wazir condemned the action of Delhi police who arrested two supporters of Kisan movement from Jammu and many others from othersd states and put them in Tihar Jail.
An appeal was made to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for early release of arrested persons. Alleging that the implementation of new-farm laws will make farmers’ economic condition bad to worse, Wazir demanded their roll back.
Dayal Singh Wazir Chairman Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Darbinder Singh president Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Mohinder Singh chief organizer Bhai Kaniya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K, Raja Singh member DGPC Jammu and many others attended the meeting.
