NEW DELHI, Sept 8: Sugar remain steady for the second straight day in the national capital today as prices moved in a narrow range on alternate small bouts of trading before ending at last levels.
Marketmen said some buying support from retailers and bulk consumers mainly kept prices unmoved.
The following were today’s rates per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 3,800-4,000, S-30 3,775-3,960.
Mill delivery: M-30 3,540-3,855; S-30 3,500-3,825.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3720, Kinnoni 3855, Asmoli 3760, Dorala 3710, Budhana N.T, Thanabhavan N.T, Ramala 3570, Bulandshar N.T, Morna 3590, Sakoti 3570, Chandpur 3630, Dhanora 3690, Khatuli 3690, Baghpat 3590 and Amroha 3640. (PTI)
