NEW DELHI, Dec 6: Sugar prices ruled quiet in the wholesale sugar market at the national capital today on the back of limited buying activities.
Marketmen said apart from good buying support due to ongoing marriage season, ample position of stocks in the markets and regular supply from mills, mainly kept sweetner prices around overnight levels.
The following were today’s quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,060-3,260, S-30 Rs 3,050-3,240.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,860-3,225; S-30 Rs 2,850-3,190.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 2910 (Gili), Kinnoni 3,315, Asmoli 3,190, Dorala 3,060, Budhana 3,010, Thanabhavan 3,010, Dhanora (gili) 2,920, Simbholi 3,260, Modi Nagar 3,140, Khatuli 3,025, Dhampur 2,990, Ramala 2,885, Bulandshar 2,920, Anupshar 2,860, Baghpat 2,895, Morna 2,895, Sakoti 2,900, Chandpur 2,875, Amroha 3,060 and Nazibabad 2875.
