NEW DELHI, Aug 31: Quiet conditions developed in the wholesale sugar market at national capital following scattered buying support against restricted arrivals.
Marketmen said small buying support and reduced supply mainly held sweetener prices around overnight levels.
The following were today’s quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 3,180-3,300, S-30 Rs 3,170-3,290.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,970-3,180; S-30 Rs 2,960-3,160.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3100, Kinnoni 3,175, Asmoli 3,135, Dorala 3,100, Budhana 3,120, Thanabhavan 3,115, Dhanora 3,080, Simbholi 3,150, Modi Nagar 3,140, Khatuli 3,065, Dhampur 3,040, Ramala 3,015, Bulandshar 2,980, Anupshar 3,000, Baghpat 3,025, Morna 3,025, Sakoti 3,010, Chandpur 2,970, Amroha 3,060 and Nazibabad 3005.
