NEW DELHI, Feb 23: The wholesale sugar market ended steady in the national capital today as prices moved on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept sugar prices steady.
The following were today quotations per quintal:
Sugar ready: M-30 3,300-3,450, S-30 3,280-3,430.
Mill delivery: M-30 3,180-3,320; S-30 3,160-3,300.
Sugar mill gate (including duty): Mawana 3315, Kinnoni 3380, Asmoli 3335, Dorala 3290, Budhana 3290, Thanabhavan 3290, Dhanora 3275, Simbholi 3350, Modi Nagar 3260, Khatuli 3260, Dhampur 3245, Ramala 3190, Bulandshar 3240, Anupshar 3180, Baghpat 3220, Morna 3200, Sakoti 3220, Chandpur 3240, Amroha 3245 and Nazibabad 3180.
