JAMMU, Oct 29: Senior provincial president of National Conference (NC) Khalid Najib Suharwardy today lambasted the J&K administration for being a silent spectator to unfortunate road accidents occurring over the past many years in hilly areas of Doda, Ramban, Reasi and Kishtwar.
Expressing grief over the tragic road accident occurred yesterday in Doda, Suharwardy promises to counter the systemic masquerade. “Without a professional approach by the regimes and valuing human lives, these accidents shall continue to ruin innocents, “Suharwardy said in a statement and regretted the lackluster attitude of the administration.
“We are sold for mere few bucks for providing fake fitness to vehicles, allowing unqualified drivers and allied staff to operate. Corruption in the system is rampant and this is leading to devastation,” said Suharwardy.
He extended condolences to the bereaved families and promises to begin an agitation to counter this systemic masquerade. He also appealed the public to join the cause.
