JAMMU, Apr 4: Former Minister and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Marh Sukhnandan Kumar today kick started blacktopping work of road from Gulamey Chak to Trilokpur via Ranjeetpur and Kherian.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sukhnandan Kumar said that Marh is the alone constituency of the State which got this Urban Cluster Village Scheme under which approximately Rs 30 crores will be utilized in first phase out of total Rs 100 crores in total.
He said that Modi led Government is working hard to uplift the rural areas across the nation and this Government is working very hard to provide the basic amenities to the common masses.
“Central Government is committed to work for the weaker sections of the society and the schemes initiated by the Government have successfully taken each sections of the society under its fold”, he added.
SDM Marh, BDO Marh, ex-sarpanch, ex-panch and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
