REASI, Jan 9: After much deliberation and efforts, Sula Park of Reasi town has been handed over to Floriculture Department by Forest Department.
The demand, raised for almost a year, has been finally fulfilled due to the persistent efforts of the office of the District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar Dattatray Doifode.
Considering the park to be an important tourist destination of the town, the DDC has directed the Floriculture Department to restore and maintain the park to its best. Along with the formal hand over process between the two departments, the DDC has also resolved various issues pending between the two. DDC Sagar will personally visit the park tomorrow morning to inspect and discuss its development with the concerned authorities.
