JAMMU, Oct 26: Renowned contemporary artist from Jammu, Suman Gupta, has been invited to participate in a major international group show in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
The month-long exhibition has been organized by CICA Museum of Contemporary Art, which has invited Gupta to showcase two of his works in early 2025.
He is the sole participant from India among a group of artists from various countries selected from major disciplines of contemporary art.
The show is being curated by CICA Museum of Contemporary Art in Korea.
The Museum has invited Suman Gupta to exhibit two of his recent egg tempera paintings titled ‘Wind from the River Valley’ and ‘Dance of Spring’.
Gupta is an Indian realist with a modernist vision. His paintings are deeply rooted in the tradition of Indian realism, as defined by the land and its people, celebrating the beauty found in everyday life.
