JAMMU, Oct 2: The art work of Suman Gupta, a well known artists from J&K, is being showcased in an ongoing show in Delhi.
One of the historical art works, based on the history of Jammu has been major attraction at this on going exhibition ‘ARTISTAGRAM-2021’ , a major show of contemporary art which opened on Ist October in collaboration with Kunwar Viyogi Memorial Trust at Visual Art Gallery of India Habitat Centre, has showcased the art works of some of the upcoming and senior artists of India.
Suman Gupta’s art work, “ The Tale of Town” painted in mix media depicts a tiger and a goat drinking water from the same pond while a village folk is resting under the shade of a Banyan tree totally unaware of the incident at the pond, reflecting the story behind the emergence of this beautiful town of Jammu.
