SRINAGAR, June 7: The Government today announced that summer vacations for all the educational institutions up to higher secondary level, including recognized private schools falling in summer zone of Jammu division will be observed from June 13 to July 27.
According to Order No: 262-Edu of 2015 dated: 07-06-2015, consequent upon five day reduction in usual summer vacation period of 50 days, there shall be an equivalent increase in winter vacations of the summer zone schools of Jammu division.
The order further said that any default on part of the private schools in observance of the calendar of summer vacations will attract action under rules.
