JAMMU, June 7: All schools in Jammu Division shall observe summer vacations from June 8 to July 25 even as there will be online interaction of teaching faculty with students at least once in a week.
An order in this regard was issued today by the School Education Department, according to which all Government educational institutions, including recognized private schools upto class 12th falling in Summer Zone, shall observe summer vacation with effect from June 8, 2021 to July 25, 2021.
However, the summer vacations shall be observed with some conditions which include online interaction of teaching faculty with students through Whatsapp group/Google meet etc at least once in a week.
Teachers shall remain available for any query/doubt of any student on phone/Whatsapp etc while weekly programs and assessment shall continue to be conducted throughout the vacation for engaging children in cultural activities and for consolidation of curriculum/syllabus already covered, read the order.
