JAMMU, June 8: State High Court will observe summer vacations from June 13 to June 27 (both days inclusive).
According to the notification issued by Registrar General, M K Hanjura, the Chief Justice has nominated the Judges to be Vacations Judges for both wings of the High Court to hear matters which may require to be immediately or promptly dealt with for the respective periods.
Justice BS Walia will be the Vacation Judge of Jammu Wing from June 20 to June 24 and Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur will be the Vacation Judge of Srinagar Wing from June 20 to June 24.
Meanwhile, Principal Sessions Judge, Jammu nominated three Session Judges to deal with emergent criminal cases of Jammu District.
Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Rajesh Sekri will hold the court from June 13 to June 17, MK Sharma, 2nd Additional Sessions Judge will hold the court from June 18 to June 22 and 3rd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu, will hold the court from June 23 to June 27.
CJM Jammu Suneet Gupta has also nominated three Judicial Magistrates to function as Duty Magistrates during the summer vacation dealing with emergent criminal cases of Jammu district.
Parveen Pandoh, Munsiff Jammu, will hold the court from June 13 to June 17, Vinod Kumar, Special Electricity Magistrate, Jammu will hold the court from June 18 to June 22 and Romesh Lal, Forest Magistrate, Jammu, will hold the court from June 23 to June 27.
