JAMMU, June 28: Government Degree Colleges falling under Summer Zone (Jammu Division) shall observe summer vacations with effect from July 1 to July 15, 2023.
However, the constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu are not included among those observing the summer vacations.
An order in this regard was issued today by the Higher Education Department, according to which, all the Government Degree Colleges of Jammu division (Summer Zone) shall observe the summer vacations, except the constituent colleges of Cluster University of Jammu.
According to the sources, Cluster University of Jammu has decided not to observe the summer vacations for timely completion of the syllabus of 6th semester students so that they may compete for PG admission at national level institutes.
