JAMMU, June 2: As there is no respite from scorching heat in this winter capital of the State from soaring mercury, the Government has declared summer vacations from June 6.
“The two-month long summer vacations will begin from June 6 and June 5 will be the last working days in all the Government and private schools across the Jammu Province,” an official said.
He said as the hot weather conditions continued, the schools will remain closed from June 6 till August 4. “All educational institutions will re-open on August 5,” he added.
