SRINAGAR, Oct 11 : National Conference Member Legislative Council (MLC) Davinder Singh Rana today said summoning of former Army chief, VK Singh to the Upper House will be a great day in the history of the House.
Speaking during Motion of Thanks, before the House was to be adjourned sine-die, Rana said “a freelance gentleman in the name of Vijay Kumar Singh who by chance became General of Indian Army has tarnished the image of Kashmiri politicians by his statements.”
“Let Vijay Kumar Singh come to the House. He has opened Pandora’s box which needs to be shut in the House when he will be facing questions from the members,” he said in pitched voice.
Former Army General V K Singh has alleged that politicians in Kashmir are being paid by the Army to bring stability and counter the separatist propaganda.
