JAMMU, June 5:
J&K Retired Army Officer Lt Col P.N Dass, father of Sunanda Pushkar on Tuesday passed away at his residence here on city outskirts in this winter capital of the state.
The deceased was also father -in-law of Shashi Taroor, Congress MP and former Union Minister.
He was cremated at Channi Himmat, Cremation Ground.
After mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar few years back, Lt Col Dass shifted to his son’s place outside the state but he was cremated in Jammu.
The native place of the family was Bomai, Sopore but after migration, they constructed a house in Channi Himmat here.
Sunanda Pushkar Nath Dass was an Indian businesswoman and the wife of Indian former diplomat and politician Shashi Tharoor. (UNI)
