Sunil Dimple stages demo

JAMMU, Apr 6: Sunil Dimple, President Mission Statehood, here on Thursday staged a demonstration demanding early restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
Dimple, along with scores of protestors, who sat on a Dharna on the ever-busy Janipur road, raised slogans against the opening of additional wine shops and beer stores in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the protestors, he said, “with the opening of more wine shops and easy availability of beer at the Departmental stores, the youth of the J&K would become alcoholic.”
Dimple also expressed concern over adjournment of the Parliament session sine die without any discussion on restoration of Statehood to Jammu and Kashmir or conduct of Assembly elections in the UT.
He demanded that the visiting ECI team must announce the schedule of the Assembly election during their visit to J&K.
Those who participated in the protest were Manjeet, Sachin Soi, Sat Sharma, Rajesh Talla, Rupesh Bhat, Ashok Khanna, Dev Raj, Raju Kumar, Ashok Sharma, Bunty Dogra and others.
